Editing

We edit a variety of materials, such as medical articles and communications, technical and user manuals of all types, and non-fiction books. We edit to the level appropriate for your project and your requirements: proofreading and spell checking; copy edits (word usage, sentence structure, sentence transitions, clarity); developmental edits (content structure, content flow, readability, audience appropriateness, and overall design).

Indexing

We understand that every indexing project is unique and requires a unique approach. How you apply the “rules” of professional indexing is both a creative and an analytical endeavor. We especially value the editing phase of an index. We can evaluate your indexes; we will edit indexes we have not created.

We have experience indexing a variety of documents, such as books, user manuals and other technical documents, reports, and articles in a variety of fields.

Technical
and Medical
Writing

Technical and medical writing is typically a multi-phase process that includes defining the project scope, evaluating the target audience and user needs, and determining the writing approach and tone, to name a few of the issues that may need to be considered.

We write and develop many types of documents, such as medical articles and consumer information pieces, user manuals, and procedures.

Production
and
Information Design

Good document design is a combination of well-written content presented in a consistent effective style using a solid structure appropriate for the target audience. We are knowledgeable about a variety of commonly used style guides and professional approaches to document design. We can develop templates, boilerplate documents, and methodologies to help you maintain consistency and continuity in document sets.

We design, create, and fine-tune a variety of materials, from technical manuals to consumer information pieces.
